1. Aging test

Put the PCBA board with the test function OK under specific temperature and humidity conditions, and perform repeated opening and closing, simulation function operation, load operation and other operations. The stability of the PCBA board is tested by working continuously for 24 to 72 hours. Burn-in tests take a long time, making large-scale batch operations impossible. In the actual process, the aging test is just sample sampling, and the total output of this batch of products can be determined by the pass rate of the sampling test.

2. Vibration test

In the process of delivery to customers, many PCBA boards usually cause some problems due to vibration during transportation, such as parts falling off and soldering board cracks. Through the vibration test, the vibration effect during transportation can be effectively simulated in the laboratory, and the hidden dangers in the welding process can be gradually exposed. To avoid batch welding, improve the overall delivery yield. At present, there are professional analog motion vibration workbenches on the market, and the price is not high. You can buy one for 5,000 yuan.

3. Surge shock test

In the process of PCBA processing, it is usually possible to work under normal voltage, but transient faults will occur in a certain surge. Many circuit designs are imperfect. They often fail to consider the fatal impact of instantaneous voltage or current surges on the entire circuit, which requires us to conduct sampled surge surge experiments before mass production of PCBAs.

4. Packaging test

Packaging testing is often overlooked, leading to a very interesting problem: we spend a lot of effort perfecting the PCBA board, but get lost in the final stages of packaging and shipping. The factory should simulate the packaging form of the PCBA board for proper drop testing.

The reliability test of PCBA board is not limited to the above items. Each PCBA factory can discuss with customers to determine the specific reliability test plan according to the actual situation, in pursuit of higher quality manufacturing.
